Following the latest Government lockdown, Self-Employed workers can claim a grant through the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS). This will be calculated at a percentage of their historic average profits & will cover the three months of November – January 2021. The amount Self-Employed workers can claim is 80% of their average profits, for November, December & January, upto a total of £7,500. Applications for the grant are expected to open at the end of November, with the grant being paid in January. A second grant is currently set to be paid around April time, covering February-April 2021, but the level of support is still to be announced.
